Jessica Tuck continues to date supernatural!

When a star attains the fame of being a perfect match for a particular role, then he or she becomes the most sought-after entity in the industry whenever a demand of similar act pops up.

Former Judging Amy star Jessica Tuck, who earned all round acclaim for playing a supernatural character in True Blood has reportedly been roped in for another mystical show titled Grimm as one of its guest stars.

Tuck will be seen donning the avatar of a witch-like character belonging to Hexenbiests in the show. Her character named Catherine will play a crucial role in one of the coming episodes, Love Sick. Since she is touted to be the mother of the main character, Adalind, I am sure there will be something more than just horrific Instances. No idea what’s in store, but it might make us Love Sick!.

Catherine’s appearance may lead to a new story in the already titillating modern day fairy tale. It is needles to mention that Tuck will have all have an edge over all the guest stars who had made guest appearances in Grimm previously.

She has kept True Blood audiences on tenterhooks for as many as four seasons, and I can guarantee you that most horror lovers could hardly imagine someone else as Nan Flanagan other than her.

Have a Judging Amy download to see how she was also capable of playing a normal role. In CBS drama she showed up as a loveable wife to Peter Gray, one of show’s prime characters.

Of course, we can’t deny the fact that she came to forefront for her portrayal of horrific Vampire League chief in True Blood. But then, we must take into consideration that Nan Flanagan can’t be the only identity of the actress.

Her versatility is immense and may be unfathomable than what she has done so far. Watch out the treasure of talent as she goes on to fill the air with mystery and horror with Grimm.

Judging Amy’s Maxine Gray Knows No Shortcuts in Art, Especially Theatre!

The role of Maria Callas from Terrance McNally’s theatrical masterpiece, ‘Master Class’ is not every actor’s cup of tea, and never will a produce be able to gather the required guts to cast someone unworthy in it.

The role requires an amplified presence of an actor onstage, an actor who should be able to sing and create an ambience similar to an opera show.

The role, therefore, required an actor who had enough theatre running in her veins, someone who could numb the audience through her wisdom.

And, Tyne Daly was simply the best from the lot. She would be soon performing this legendary role during a show at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in Manhattan Theatre Club.

Actors Sierra Boggess, Alexandra Siber, Garrett Sorenson and Jeremy Cohen claim that only acting caliber of the highest levels can help one stand against Tyne Daly on the stage.

Tyne Daly is one of the very few actresses who can be relied upon with the role of the American born and Greek educated opera diva, Maria Callas.

Judging Amy, the famous television series, has Tyne Daly playing the role of Amy’s widowed mother.

Judging Amy episodes reveal that the character of the widowed mother really needed someone who could do enough justice to the blended requirements of the role.

It needed someone who could be a strong willed woman with an opinion on everything and the capacity of holding the longest of grudges even against people whom she had to pass by every day.

The legendary Tyne teaches theatre to her students, and rightly says that there exists no shortcut in art.

Judging Amy Meets One of the Desperate Housewives!

Sometimes, it sounds pretty cool when stars of two smash hit series, meet in one place.

Well, if you thinking of a cross-over between Judging Amy and Desperate Housewives, then you are not just wrong, but pondering on something that is totally absurd.

If you ask why, then I would point out the fact that Judging Amy had wrapped up its final season, way back in 2005.

Now, the next question that arises is - who are the two stars and how would they meet?

So here it is!

Harriet Harris, who was seen in Desperate Housewives as Felicia Tilman has been roped in for a role in a musical titled ‘It Shoulda Been You’, which also stars Judging Amy alumni, Tyne Daly.

I guess, I have talked about ‘It Shoulda Been You’ in one of my earlier posts.

The main attraction of the musical is of course Tony Award winner actress-cum-theater artist Tyne Daly.

But, what I am looking forward to witnessing is how a star like Harriet gels with a veteran like Tyne. Undoubtedly, Desperate Housewives’ star would have a whole lot of nuances to learn from Tyne, as she is regarded as the queen of the theater!

Performing in front of a live audience might not be something new for Tyne, but it’s a whole different ball game for Harriet!

Interestingly, while Tyne will be playing the role of a bride’s mother, Harriet will be the groom’s mom. And if we take into account the plotline of the play that is centered on the conflicting wedding, we can expect some sort of on-stage cat-fights.

Tyne Daly, who still can compel fans to watch Judging Amy online, has her hopes lying on the latest play. And I won’t be surprised, if she surpasses everybody’s expectations with her acts.

Be cautious Harriet Harris, a friend in rehearsal could turn out to be a foe on stage. And quite befittingly, the plotline features them as enemies!

Do you feel the urge to take a look at some of Tyne Daly’s TV acts?

No problem!

Tyne Daly Finds Herself as the Mother of a Bride!

Has Tyne Daly decided to prepare for the wedding of any of her three daughters? How come we didn’t get to know about it earlier!

Well, well, well! Before you start to loosen the reins of your imagination, let me interrupt to explain that it has got nothing to do with the three daughters of the veteran actress.

She has actually been roped in to play a crucial role in David Hyde Pierce’s musical play ‘It Shoulda Been You’, slated to make a world premiere later this year. Actress Tyne will be seen donning the role of the bride’s mother.

The conflict in the play originates from an interfaith wedding. And having Tyne in the role of bride’s mother is only going to intensify the proceedings. We are all well aware of Tyne’s capabilities as a screen mom, aren’t we?

The Tony Award winning actress Tyne has had an illustrious theater career, hence the role of a bride’s mother isn’t going to be such a huge challenge for her.

Theater artists have always been regarded as true actors, simply because of the fact that they have to perform in front of a live audience.
Apart from creating her own niche in theater business, the 65-year-old actress has dished out some memorable performances in shows such as Judging Amy, Cagney & Lacey and Wings.

She has also made guest appearances in Grey’s Anatomy and Burn Notice.

She has played the role of a mother in Judging Amy episodes. One look at them, and you’ll know why I have said that no one can beat her as a mom!

Tyne Daly’s character played an important part in Judging Amy, not because of the fact that she was the mother of the protagonist, but because she was conceptualized to appear as the main source of conflict.

Before, I bid adieu, I would like to wish Tyne Daly all the luck for her upcoming project, and hope that her performance bags her many more awards!
